Tarpon Fishing Charters

Tarpon fishing charters are the most exciting angling experience we have to offer here on Anna Maria Island!  We are preparing now, stock piling crabs, rebuilding drags, and making our finishing touches to our upgraded tarpon gear for this year. I switch over to almost nothing but tarpon fishing in the beginning of May and fish them relentlessly till the 2nd or 3rd week of July. Tarpon fishing charters is without a doubt my favorite thing to do! It’s what I am best known for and is my specialty. Tampa Bay tarpon fishing is second to no place in the world and Anna Maria Island is quickly taking over the title as the tarpon capital of the world. Tampa bay is by far the largest estuary in the state and starting the beginning of May the tarpon will be pouring in here by the tens of thousands coming from all over the Gulf of Mexico. I still have a just a very few Tampa Bay tarpon fishing charter dates left available. They are prime dates right in the middle of the peak migration. Anyone interested let me know as soon as possible.

As for now the offshore fishing for snapper, permit, cobia, kingfish, grouper, tunny and mackerel is on fire. Inshore we are catching snook everywhere we go, a few redfish mixed in, and plenty of nice size keeper trout. The action is everywhere and it is as about as good as it gets!
